Guess what!
I can't believe it myself....I did it! I finally got those egg pictures up in frames!!! LOL!
And I spent only $6.00!!!

I purchased 4 black frames from the Dollar store...yes, the dollar store. They are not great frames. Since, they are on a wall and no one can inspect them behind the TV, I took a chance.
The matting is just blue construction paper...Free!
All I did was, put double stick tape on the back side of the egg print and centered the pictures on the blue paper.
It really looks great! I am very pleased.
Oh and another thing.....the dollar store has blue plates that are the exact same color as the mats. So I purchased 2 of them. I also purchased 2 green plates...same color as the little bird.
What do you think?
Should I put 2 green plates on either end of the prints....or blue plates?
Or nothing at all?
Please...please help me decide.

Remember the birds???
I posted a couple of days ago about my Egg prints.
Well, I finally had some time to paint those small birds to match the tall birds...LOL!
here's the before...

here's the after....

The colors are not perfect...but they do go with my decor.
I just used acrylic paint from the crafts store. I painted over these...no primer needed.
What have you been working on? Anything fun?
