Yesterday, I took my sweet children to the dentist. On the way, we travel down several heavily traveled roads. One of them has an open canal along side and then under-crosses this 4 lane road. I was waiting in the turn lane, at a spotlight. Now the interesting thing is....I approached this light just as it was turning yellow. I could have made it through the light but, chose to wait for the next green light. I wasn't really in a hurry yesterday. When the light turned green again...I started to go...who doesn't...LOL! As, I come around the corner..I noticed something unusual. There was something crossing the road! Now, I live in a populated area...so I was caught off guard when I realized it was a Mother Duck and her nine ducklings crossing this busy road. To my amazement...they didn't get run over. I began to stop and told the kids to look out the window and check out the ducks. It was such a sight to see. The mother duck hurrying along...not worried they wouldn't get across the road before those big loud...scary things came by. Needless to say, they did make it across...because God protected them.
There are two morals to this story....
1. You'll miss the blessings in life...if you are always in a hurry.
2. Trust in the Lord God. He protects and provides ALWAYS and with EVERYTHING.
