Well, I've been Twittering about making a cake. So, I decided to show you...my wonderful friends this cake I made.










What do you think? Oh, this cake is frosted in cream cheese! It just makes me want to go eat a cake!!! LOL!

Update on me!!!

I have been posting more on my "myveryprettythings" blog lately to help promote my Etsy shop friends. Sorry, it's feast or famine at this blog....totally sorry about that.

I have been working on my veggie garden...and boy are the wasps been out to bug me in the last week. I found out we have 3 praying mantis pods..cocoons,nests not sure what to call them. They are in a tree in the back yard. I am so happy about it...really. They are wonderful bugs...they eat the bad bugs.

I also have been booking wedding cakes! Yes, I decorate cakes out of my home. I'd like to rent a kitchen...but, I really think that is a pipe dream. (sore subject)

Anyway, here is a cake I made....enjoy!!!

Update on my garden

Hey all!

I just wanted to give you an update on my veggie garden.





I've got my peas in the ground. I've got tomatoes, Lima beans, broccoli, cucumber seedlings in the green house.



They are all doing very well...thank goodness!


The weather has been really wonderful here and it's suppost to be in the 70's tomorrow.

I am hoping to get some corn and zucchini started here today.

All is well here....how about you???

I was amazed how easy it really was. My slipcover isn't perfect...but nether am I...LOL!

Sorry about the before picture being blurry. I have no idea how I did that?




All in all, it took me about 4 hours to make the slipcover. Not bad if you ask me.
I just love how it turned out.


My husband told me to go out and buy the bolt to do the couch. That says alot about it...since my husband has no faith in my sewing ability. Well, that's because I can't sew clothing. Everything else...no problem....but something about clothes. I just can't do.

I am so lasy that I still haven't hemmed the bottom of the slipcover. LOL! I figure I'll get to it when I make the couch cover.
