Why is it that when I'm in the shower (in the morning) I have so many topics I would like to post about...but when I get to sitting down to write...I can't remember what they were. Ahh! I can't take a pen and paper in the shower with me...can I? No, that is really silly.
Why is it that I can never remember certain family member's birthdays? They have to tell me every year. I can remember that they are on a certain month...but that month goes by and I forget to send a card or buy a gift. These are family members that I actually like. LOL!
Why is it that I can't ever remember what the third item on my list is? It's a last minute grocery shop and I have 3 things on my list. I think...ok I can remember 3 items without writing them down. Right!?! I end up buying 4 extra things while walking up and down the isles trying to remember what that 3rd item was!!! LOL!
Life is so funny sometimes....What's something you forget?

I'm a new Postie....
I’m a new postie for PayPerPost! I saw this blog ads button for them the other day and thought…it might be fun to do. So here I am posting for them. They have a number of topics to post about. As you know, I sometimes don’t have much to post about…so this will be a great opportunity for you (my friends) to get to know me and things that I like or dislike. So how this works is…You sign up, you get approved and then you check the list of available topics for you to write about. The topics range from household items to services you might get. It also sounds like some companies will send you their product to try before posting about it. But don’t quote me on that. I’m still new so, I don’t really know all the ropes. Blogging is so much fun and I love getting comments about my life and my thoughts. So, please feel free to comment about this subject. I would love to hear what you all think.

I also hope this PayPerPost post will intrigue you to check them out. I know I was interested when I saw the button, on another of my friend’s blogs.
I am really excited about this opportunity and I’ll keep you posted…LOL !... on how this all works out.
Thanks for stopping by….I hope everyone has a great day!!!

I want to be a "Gilmore Girl"
I love the TV show called "Gilmore Girls". Why?
During the time when this show aired...I was going through having my children. My daughter has special needs so...it was a wonderful break from the pressure of dealing with her special needs. Every Tuesday night I would put the children to bed just in time to sit down and de-stress from the day.
I live vicariously through both Mom & daughter. I was more like Rory growing up, only not as book smart. But I am more like Loralei when it comes to things that I remember and my dreams. It's interesting how we relate to TV shows.
Dreams...something I had long forgotten until I started watching this show. I currently have all the seasons on DVD. My wonderful hubby purchased them for me. What a wonderful man! I am currently watching the 5th season. I decided a few months ago that I would watch them beginning to end. So that's where I'm at now.
Back to dreams...I have dreamed about owning a B&B for about 14 years. As I watch this fictional character do what I have wanted to do, I get a little sad. I suppose it's not what God wanted for me. I bring this up because, a month ago I went to an Open House in a small gold rush town...gold rush ghost town...more like it. There was a historic Hotel for sale. It was built in 1856. It needed some work and there was room to add on. There was so much potential there. Well, you can tell....I haven't stopped thinking about it. As I noted before, it's just not a possible thing for me.
I told myself some day...I'll own my B&B. For now...I stay home and love on my children...and I am very happy that I can do that!
Have a great day everyone!

On another note: Some of you know my daughter is allergic to Peanuts. Pretty severely...I might add. Well on Saturday, I purchased a pre-made broccoli salad to eat with my dinner. Little did I know that the SUNFLOWER SEEDS were fried in PEANUT OIL!!! Thank God I checked the ingredient list. I really mean....Thank you God! I didn't give any to my daughter so she is not affected. But who knew? I had no idea sunflower seeds were fried in peanut oil. Well now I know. I just wanted to let others know too!
Thanks everyone for hanging in with me!
Have a wonderful day.

What to do this weekend?
Well, I'm at a loss for what to do this weekend. I would love to go yard saleing...but, I've got a couple of morning things to do ...so that would be out of the question. It's supposed to be a really nice day here. Maybe I'll take the kids to fly the kite that my MIL gave us. That might be fun.
Well, I know I've been telling you about the Giveaway that I'm planning....and I'll post about that on Sunday. I promise! I haven't been going out because of this ear thing I have. As I posted before...I have been sick. I somehow got an ear infection...a pretty bad one...and I still don't have my hearing back in my left ear. (please pray I get it back) The dizziness has gone but not the annoyance of the lack of hearing! UGH!
On the homefront, we are finally going to paint our home on the week of April 14...yes I know...it's a super busy week. I pray that it stays nice and doesn't rain. Otherwise, I haven't done much with decorating or otherwise. I've just been working on beaded wedding bags for my Etsy shop. I've signed up for a showcase Tomorrow so, please check my showcase out. I haven't had a sale yet...so I'm hoping this will generate some sales.
Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend....I know I'll try!!!
